The Kiss

Its a few days to the celebration of St Valentine's day (that overrated and probably the most misinterpreted day of the Catholic calendar) and love (or the semblance of it) is in the air. I'm laying in my bed (my mom's couch, yeah i don't OWN a bed! lol) and Eureka! I got this idea (good or bad u decide); hey, why don't I share the experience of the best kiss i've ever had with you (a poetic rendition mind you lol). I wrote this not too long after said kiss... In any case, (Smiling) just thinking about it swooshes me back to that glorious moment. It is almost the same, you know, reliving those moments when lips locked and emotions awakened.... You probably want to know WHO i shared this with but unfortunately (fortunately for me! wink)  that information is soooooo CLASSIFIED even Interpol couldn't possibly EVER find out! wink, lol. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaappyyyyyyyyyyy Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaarrrrr! Thank you Thank you Thank you! I know I know it's been like forever innit? lol... But as always I AM BACK ( comic evil laughter). Oh well been beating my head about what to write, you know. Maybe something intellectual and really ... I don't know shark-like. FINDING ME

How do you tear your eyes away from beauty?
When she glares at you audaciously, seductively, vivaciously, naively
How do you bear the pain of being misunderstood?
When understanding evades and confuses mankind
How do you erase a memory?
A memory repugnant as sin and yet pervasive as breath.

Take away my pain.
Erase my memories.

That I may change the path I turned; the path to infinite pain and derision from enemies and lovers.
Free me from this nagging shame constantly reminding me of the unforgettable.

What is the remedy to the disease of life?
What is the cure to self?
Why am I pursued by a punishing rutz!
Entrapments day by sluggish day, night by drowsy night
Moment by suffocating moment
Heart wrenching joylessness!

Maybe just maybe I’ll make it and find that oh so evasive fulfilling joy
Maybe the unfathomable, barely within reach will find its way to my space
Just MAYBE

Until that space in time I replace it with a high
My drug of choice, LAUGHTER
